Hankyoung Chang South Korea, 12, Junior
Hankyoung Chang has been playing the violin since the age of four. She has studied at the Music Academy for Young Gifted Musicians at the Seoul Arts Center. Aged eight, Hankyoung was admitted to the Pre-College Division of the Juilliard School, where she is in the class of Professor Hyo Kang. She was a student in Hic et Nunc 2019! Music Festival and participated in masterclasses with Vadim Repin and Clara-Jumi Kang. Hankyoung has also participated in masterclasses with Vadim Gluzman and Kyoko Takezawa. When she is not playing the violin, Hankyoung loves reading, painting and swimming.
